Help to coordinate or participate in the up-coming “JUMP! for Africa” skydiving fundraiser (July 21, 2012).
“JUMP! for Africa” is an “extreme fundraiser”.

Office Assistant:
Help Give Us Wings’ U.S. office to continue to run smoothly and provide support to our programs and partners in Africa by working a few hours each week in our office. This is a great opportunity to put your organizational and communication skills to work where they can make a big difference for children and families in Kenya and Uganda.
Duties: mail, data entry (excel), follow up calls, correspondence, processing new volunteer applications, bookkeeping, filing, etc.
Skills/Qualifications: basic computer skills, knowledge of office equipment.
Volunteer in Kenya and Uganda:
The lens through which you view the world will be changed forever… The Give Us Wings Discovery Trip is a Service Trip, with an emphasis on creating awareness about poverty. You will meet with community-based groups to talk about the effects of poverty and you will discuss ways to alleviate poverty. Additionally, you can take part in a variety of hands-on projects, such as: working at a health camp, tutoring students, building homes, assisting in community organization and agricultural work. Your personal skills and talents will be helpful in the work we do. Volunteer travelers are responsible for the cost of their trip and airfare. We are currently planning our February 2013 trip. Volunteer Trip Coordinator for Give Us Wings
We are currently looking for a volunteer coordinate and organize all aspects of our volunteer travel to Africa. As a Volunteer Trip Coordinator you will be asked to work approximately 5-10 hours a week (although time commitment is variable) working on such tasks as: planning the trip itinerary and making travel arrangements, providing information and answering questions about the trips to potential travelers, following up with volunteers who are interested in traveling to Africa, keeping print materials for trips up to date, posting trip information, and marketing the Africa trips to potential volunteers.
