Volunteer Trip in Kenya & Uganda!
Give Us Wings Volunteer Trips are service trips with an emphasis on creating awareness about poverty and development in rural communities in Kenya and Uganda. You will be inspired by the loving, hard-working people you meet in Africa. And you will have opportunities to use your personal skills, talents, and enthusiasm to assist our partners improve their lives.

Plans are still in the works, but in general, to go on a Give Us Wings volunteer trip you will need to complete and return the following 4 documents and you’ll be on your way! Please note: Application process will likely close in September 2015.
Here are the documents and timeframe from the last trip.
GUW Trip Agreement -- Agree to the terms of the trip.
January Trip Application (Part 1) - Likely Due September, 2015 with deposit ($500).
January Trip Application (Part 2)- Likely Due on October, 2015 with 1/2 the remaining trip fees.
January Trip Application (Part 3)- Likely Due on December, 2015 with remaining trip fees.

The Give Us Wings Discovery Trips are service trips, with an emphasis on creating awareness about poverty and development in rural communities in Kenya and Uganda.
- You will meet with community-based groups to talk about the effects of poverty and you will discuss ways to alleviate poverty.
- You will have opportunities to talk one-to-one with men, women, and children with whom we have worked for over a decade.
- We can also arrange for you to spend time with a family and experience for yourself, daily life in rural Kenya and Uganda.
- Additionally, you can take part in a variety of hands-on projects, such as working at a Give Us Wings’ Health Clinics in Kenya or Uganda, tutoring students, building homes, assisting in community organization, and agricultural work.
You will be inspired by the loving, hard-working people you meet in Africa. And you will have opportunities to use your personal skills, talents, and enthusiasm to assist our partners improve their lives. Give Us Wings Discovery Trips are truly life-changing.
Volunteer travelers are responsible for the cost of their trip and airfare.
*Each trip participant must complete and return the 4 documents with payment where noted to Give Us Wings by the specific deadlines.
